"Bowl Lift": Provide Caring Pet Owners With a More Comfortable and Practical Means of Lifting a Pet Dish

The "Bowl Lift" allows owner to replenish water and food dishes without straining.

The Bowl Lift answers a problem users are often faced by those suffering from arthritis, are mobility challenged, disabled or a senior, when attempting to properly feed his or her beloved pet.   This new product is the accessory or aid that helps solve the problem.  The Bowl Lift is a specially designed tool comprised of an elongated, adjustable-in-length, vertical support post, the base of which features a flat interlocking brace that easily connects to a base platform configured expressly to be secured to the underside of a pet feeding dish. The design intent is to provide caring pet owners with a more comfortable and practical means of lifting a pet dish in order to replenish the food or water supply without having to bend over, squat, or otherwise strain themselves in the process.

The Bowl Lift is manufactured from a variety of materials including lightweight durable coated metal or heavy duty plastics to name just a few. It is comprised of two main components: an elongated lifting tool and a specially designed base platform to be attached to the underside of the pet dish and inside of which there is an opening for the distal end of the tool to be inserted and secured via a click-n-lock system. The ergonomic handle facilitates a firm and comfortable hold during use. The base has non-slip rubber pads on the top and bottom of the unit to keep the food dish from sliding and to keep the base stationary when on the floor.  Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Bowl Lift.

The Patent Pending Bowl Lift was invented by Elda Reyes of Houston, TX who said, “The Bowl Lift gives greater stability when lifting and lowering a pet bowl for those with back or knee problems. It is a practical means of retrieving the dishes from the floor and allows the user to stand upright when completing the task. No need to bend over at all when using the Bowl Lift. It works perfectly.”
