New York, NY, February 10, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Securing corrective lenses or sunglasses when not worn can be a problem due to their falling out of a shirt or jacket pocket. Anyone who wears sunglasses, reading glasses or eyeglasses intermittently for reading or for driving will quickly see the utility of the Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips. The Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips is a handy, grip-on pocket clip for the temples of eyeglasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses. The design intent is to enable users to simply clip their glasses to a pocket when not in use – keeping the glasses safe from loss or breakage, yet keeping them immediately accessible.
The Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips is fabricated in stamped spring-steel and sold in multi-unit packs of perhaps six clips to a pack. The Clips measure 2 inches in length and ¼-inch in width, with a thickness of ½ inch. The top of the Clip features an open-ended rectangular metal band with a rubber grip inner lining and spring loaded hinge and when opened fits over the right or left temple of the glasses, and released to close the unit in place. Once the Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips has been fastened to the temple of the glasses, the glasses may simply be folded as usual and clipped into a pocket for safekeeping. The Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips will not interfere with either the folding of the glasses or storage in the standard eyeglass case. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips.
The Patent Pending Eye Glass/Sun Glass Clip/Temple Clips was invented by Martin Santeyan of Long Beach, CA who said, “Every other week it seemed I had to buy new glasses. I was so tired of losing, scratching or breaking my glasses that I knew there had to be a way to protect them and designed this device. I have a prototype that works perfectly and my glasses stay secure and like new.”
