The "Select A Card" revolutionizes commerce by providing effective management of credit and debit cards.
New York, NY, March 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - It can be a real hassle trying to keep track of multiple credit cards, debit cards, club membership cards, discount cards, and related cards! One's wallet can be overstuffed with plastic. Not only is it frustrating to try to store and organize all of this plastic, but it also can result in one losing an important card, only to be found by an identity thief. The Select A Card can give one a more easily managed system for cards and also guard against financial and identity theft. It is a compact, hand-held electronic device specially designed to combine all credit and debit cards into one centralized point of access and has a built-in security system. (One's financial institutions have to offer the Select A Card option to their customers to facilitate synching of the user's account information with the device. Depending on the overhead costs of such a convenience offering, the institutions may likely charge a nominal fee for the service.) Televised test marketing has been completed indicating an exceptional consumer interest in the Select A Card.
The Patent Pending Select A Card was invented by Uri David of Flushing, NY, who said, “Once one's collection of cards have been synched with the unit's internal program, the Select A Card function can be easily accessed via a swipe at the chosen point of purchase. The user then enters a personal identification number via the touch screen interface which brings up a sub-menu showing each card name. One then chooses which debit, credit or retail store credit card to use.. The card information is displayed on the device screen and an electronic bar code tied directly to that particular card is presented. A retail outlet can scan this code and the user reenters a PIN in order to complete and authorize a purchase.”
The inventor added, “All of one's credit and debit cards are combined into one centralized point of access with no one able to gain access but the user. Even if the unit is lost or misplaced, no one but the owner is able to enter the Select A Card application.”
