"The Curved Lotion Application Stick": Provides Full Coverage of the Back With Ease

The Curved Lotion Application Stick is a long-handled, ergonomically curved, refillable, lotion and wash applicator for the back, featuring interchangeable heads designed to enable the user to dispense and apply lotions or skin-care creams to one's back, or, when using the brush attachment, to wash and scrub his or her own back. The design intent is to make back care more convenient and comfortable for those who can't reach all of their back or who live alone without the aid of a spouse or significant other.

The Curved Lotion Application Stick is fabricated in a lightweight, sturdy and durable injection-molded plastic with a molded or rubberized ergonomic grip near the end of the handle. At the opposite end, it has interchangeable head including a brush-head for washing and scrubbing and a silicone padded head for applying lotions. A hollow section of the handle conceals a refillable reservoir. When the bulb-style button is pressed on the top side of the grip the contents flow downward within the tube to the base of the head. A series of small perforations at the base of the heads serves to force the soap, body-wash, or skin-care lotion out and onto the bristles or silicone pad. A threaded cap on the top side of the handle serves as the refill point. Importantly, at the midpoint of the handle is an ergonomic curve that permits the bristle- or padded-head to easily reach the user's back from a comfortable grip position since the curve allows the bristle-head to angle downward. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Curved Lotion Application Stick.

The Patent Pending Curved Lotion Application Stick was invented by Robert Richards of Bushkill, PA who said, “Pretty much everyone unless they are double-jointed is unable to reach all areas of their own back.  This enables the user to scratch an itch, scrub the back or apply mediation or lotion all on their own. It works.”
