"The I-Cap": Does Not Allow Sun/eye Glasses to Be Left Behind

Like so many people, chances are you sometimes are absent-minded. Absent-mindedness is when an individual is inattentive due to a low level of focus and can easily be distracted. The number of individuals who place their eyeglasses down only to forget to grab them later is typical of absentmindedness.  This can be destructive and costly so this new product can be the solution. The I-Cap is a line of baseball caps that include attached, interchangeable sunglasses and eyewear. The design intent is to offer users an attractive piece of headgear that also serves as an efficient method of keeping track of elusive eyewear.

The I-Cap is made of a durable fabric and resembles a standard baseball cap featuring the extended curved visor typical to the casual cap. The visor/bill is reinforced with a stiffening piece and can be curved per the user’s preference. The crown hugs the head in sleek comfort and is available in size appropriate for wear by children as well as adults. It I offered in a variety of styles and colors. The incorporation of the eyewear is what make this unique and different from standard caps. Extending from each side an elastic band is sewn into the front crown that has secure loops that wrap around the stems of the glasses.  Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the I-Cap.

The Patent Pending I-Cap was invented by Yves Mathieu, Sr. of Brooklyn, NY who said, “The I-Cap is perfect for all types of eyewear and eliminates the need to search for glasses when on the way out the door. Users can keep track of their eyewear and it is instantly available when needed, retrieved in seconds. It works perfectly and saves both time and money when having to replace lost glasses.”
