"The Secure Lock": No More Kicking in Doors--Provides a Safe and Secure Home

Security is important to everyone in today’s world. Home intruders are not uncommon anymore and it is vital that people can feel secure when inside their home or when they are away. The Secure Lock is a barrel key- or keypad-activated deadbolt latch system designed to make an exterior door exceptionally secure against lock-picking and breaking-and-entering. It comes complete with a peep-hole lens and is designed for use both when the household resident(s) are in place or away on business or a vacation. The tamper resistant system provides far greater security and peace of mind than conventional deadbolts or door chains.

The Secure Lock resembles a standard deadbolt but the bolt in the Secure Lock is much heavier than the beveled, spring-backed latch bolt of a standard doorknob lock. The mechanism of a standard deadbolt, however, mounts in the door itself and throws its bolt into a strike hollowed into the adjacent wooden door frame. A burglar or intruder can hack away at the deadbolt mechanism either in the door itself or in the door frame. BUT the Secure Lock reverses the position of the mechanism and bolt while reinforcing them with a steel plate. Two versions of the Secure Lock will be available: one using a standard or barrel-style key, and one using an electro numeric keypad from the exterior and a lever or knob on the interior. Installation can be performed by a competent Handyman, Carpenter or Do-It-Yourselfer. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Secure Lock.

The Patent Pending Secure Lock was invented by Duane Beversdorf and Gabriela Aguilar Angel Lopez of Carson, CA who said, “The Secure Lock is a super deadbolt door-lock anchored in steel and bolted to the door-frame. It is impossible to breach without first destroying the frame. Thieves want doors that open quickly instead of a door needing an ax to open and will move onto the next property when faced with the Secure Lock. The Secure Lock works perfectly.”
