'The Stove Top Saver': Provides Perfect Visual Acuity on Ceramic Stove Top

Attention, whoever prepares food on a ceramic top stove — you will benefit from this new barrier. Scrubbing to remove a baked-on mess can be done away with when using this product. No longer will you have to spend hours scraping and cleaning the stove top.

The Stove Top Saver is a form-fitting, transparent, protective glass-, or glass-and-ceramic sheet, designed to lie flat on a glass-top stove and allow the user to cook with pots and pans — even cast iron — on this surface, thus protecting the actual stove-top from scratches, boil-overs, and other damage. It is removable and dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. The Stove Top Saver protects consumers' investments in glass-top stoves and keeps these popular appliances looking clean, sleek, and new.

The Stove Top Saver is flat and form-fitting, generally measuring about 30 to 32 inches in length and 28 to 30 inches in depth. The Stove Top Saver — like the cook-top itself — is fabricated in ceramic glass, a material that is transparent or translucent (giving view to the burners beneath), heat-conductive, pliable, and exceptionally stable in the presence of intense or prolonged heat. In translucent versions, the Stove Top Saver comes in a variety of colors to accommodate consumer tastes and kitchen decors.

The Stove Top Saver features a downward-oriented “safety lip” along the front and side borders. Problems such as scratching or boil-overs are intercepted by the Stove Top Saver, keeping the underlying stove-top looking flawlessly new and unmarred by use, yet performing at optimal levels. The Stove Top Saver can be wiped down or washed in the dishwasher as needed. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Stove Top Saver.

The Stove Top Saver is Patent Pending and was invented by Scott Lucas, Sherri Stark and Andrew Pomerantz of Oceanside, NY, who said, “This is a time and energy-saving device that will help save the millions of smooth top stoves in operation today. It is easy to clean up any mess, and it keeps the stove top looking like new. It is easy to clean and even cast-iron pots and pans are safe to use when the Stove Top Saver is in place. It deserves its name and it works.”
