New York, NY, February 10, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The ability to contort one’s body to place soaps, lotions or medication and other substances on hard-to-reach areas of the body is often beyond possible. When this is the case, it is time to allow the Third Arm to do the work. The Third Arm is a handheld, vibrating elongated soap and lotion dispenser and applicator. The design intent is to provide consumers with an effortless means of applying soaps and lotions to hard to reach areas of the body; in effect, offering an extended, or “third arm.” The hand, or “head” of the device is replaceable and interchangeable, and features pumice on one side, and soft bristles on the other side which dispense the soap or lotion.
Fabricated of durable plastic material, the elongated, telescopic handle is tubular in shape, with the proximal end having an ingress port for filling the unit with soap or lotion. A unique characteristic is the soap reservoir and interchangeable application pad. The applicator head is configured in the form of a human hand with a hollow interior for accommodating a chosen liquid soap. The “fingers” are peppered with a series of egress holes through which soap or lotion is dispensed. The Third Arm's attachable applicator heads each feature pumice on one side and soft bristles on the other, for optimal cleansing. The Third Arm come in a variety of color. It features a battery operated vibrating element for providing a soothing massage. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Third Arm.
The Patent Pending Third Arm was invented by Ronald Williams of Chicago, IL who said, “This is such a handy device and enables users to completely reach areas otherwise left untouched. It is perfect for anyone suffering from arthritis, physically challenged or even overweight. It works.”
